The PROKON training that my colleagues and I attended in June 2025 was an excellent learning experience. The sessions were highly practical, well-structured, and tailored to real-world engineering applications. We have been using Prokon with our university students over the last 5 years, and it has proven to be an invaluable tool in enhancing their understanding of structural analysis and design. The software’s user-friendly interface and powerful features allow students to apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world engineering practice. The way we do this, is that we give them a text book example and then get them to model it in various Prokon modules. They then compare the answers. It has significantly enriched our teaching and learning experience. We have also embedded it into our course.

We are really grateful to Prokon Ltd for the donation of software for training our students and staff. Prokon has availed us with the latest version, with the current features, including the most up-to-date design codes. The software is very simplified, especially the SUMO facility, cutting down design time so that the engineer is left to do what he/she is best at -optimising design by checking various alternatives without delaying completion of design, resulting in very economic and safe structures. It also means that a sudden change in design by the Client because of a shortage of funds or an increase in scope because of a change in the Clients brief will not delay implementation, resulting in satisfaction of the Client and the other stakeholders, including a very good working relation. The students are particularly delighted in the software, and are very keen because it will give them a real edge over their peers in the industry. It is our desire that this collaboration continues.
